Or have you been working on your Icelandic in school, but think you need to get an extra boost to get a better understanding? I train people in all aspects of Icelandic. Pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, speaking. Whatever it is, I should be able to help you with it. I welcome individuals and small groups as well. It's possible to meet online or at my location in Reykjavík or even at your place if that's what works best.
I have a BA degree in the Icelandic language from the University of Iceland and have taught Icelandic for foreigners for over 12 years. I've taught people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and abilities. Hofi is very patient and organized teacher who develops inspiring relationships with her students. Her ability to connect and her talent at teaching simple concepts, even through online courses, are exceptional. She has a great initiative and positive attitude, which is important for someone who's teaching Icelandic (not easy here either). I recommend Hófí as a teacher because of her willingness to listen and interact with the students, her mood and attitude. I sincerely hope to have her in my next course.
